I look for information for the drawing up of a three-year mechanical engineering thesis on the so-called "a bovolo" springs or "a desired". Besides, my attention as well as the general characteristics of the spring, are directed especially to the fatigue behaviour of the spring! look news.. and thank you in advance!! !

Are you looking for information for writing thesis? i.e. do you want advice on layout, character choice, format, etc?

I recommend the blue cover with silvery writings, do not go under 100 pages and do not exaggerate with the line!

No, I didn't mean header, cover or anything like that... I meant the content. I have to study the bovolo springs but it is complicated if not impossible to find articles on this type of springs.. mine must be a compilation thesis. I simply need to talk about these springs, their use, advantages and disadvantages as well as their fatigue behaviour. I hope I've been clearer. . appearance answers...thanks:biggrin:

I have been working for more than 10 years in a mill, we don't produce bovolo springs (so I don't have much experience) but I have a hoepli manual (a little dated, but always effective) where it comes... if you want to write in private! :smile:

Can you put the title of the hoepli manual that treats the bovolo springs?
I only found the hoepli:

springs, types and criteria of calculation of roccati and bongiovanni, but it is very summary on calculations. I would look for something more specific.
