Does anyone know how to achieve a rack-pignon bond with visualnastran?
between the available constraints is not explicitly indicated.. Can you do the same?

in my case the pinion is bound to a tree and is the rack running, before I had not specified it. ;-)

Well, it's the same.
Clearly a pinion will always be pouted on a little tree.

Sure, yesterday I was a little running and I couldn't explain myself better. in many cases the rack is connected to the ground and is the pinion that rotates on it. in this case it is worth the answer "draw a disk that rolls on a plane".
In my case the pine tree is bound to the ground and it is the rack that translates. wanting to use the same method proposed before I should move the plan by turning the disk. It seems to me a more complicated solution to achieve. Is there no way to simulate the system with a spur gear or bevel gear bond?

but if you use the bond of a cylinder with constant speed so as to move the plane? ?
Now it's a piece I don't use vn though you could try it too

in the end I couldn't define the link directly.. I used a link to an excel table where according to the position of the rack and to the kinematic link calculation the rotation of the pinion and return it back to vn.
Perhaps a somewhat arzygogular way of solving the problem, but I think of something else. If someone has a more effective idea they are always all ears! :
