learning catia with video and manual tutorials is possible even if it is not very simple, there is the risk that by virtue of frustrations for poor results, stop after little.

better a basic course (even those held by the region at low cost) and a complete manual like those of the prof. of the noble (the info you find in the section catia v5 documentation in relief)

to remove the snap click on the icon representing a grid with a point.

the coordinates on the pointer: When you create geometry, the windows with coordinates appear on the top, if you want to edit them, press the tabulator key and become selectable, or create geometry, put the constraints and then act on the constraints.
