hi to everyone I tried to look for but I found nothing.
I use sw and multibody use but the carpentry to which we rest uses sedge complains the fact that it must star open the step file and delete the bodies multiple times as many as the bodies that make it so as to get workable files for nesting developments etc. etc.
I know that you can click on every single body do save by name and choose steps, until they are 4 or 5 bodies all ok but when they are 20 or 30 history changes. I ask if someone knows a way to save the multibody part and every single body in separate step files autatically, maybe with some macros.

without bothering macros or external plug-ins just right click on the separate cut and save bodies

Could you attach one of your multibody files in parasolid and step format? I'd be curious to try.

I do the same for cut pipes, insert-> functions-> save bodies
creates a unique file and then converts it into step by publisher.

for clarification:
by right-clicking on the separate cut there is also the method inserted in the new part.
there is a substantial difference between saving bodies and inserting part:
insert into the new part exports the bodies and keeps them always tied to the modifications of the original part
save the bodies export the bodies and create a function in the feature manager, all that is found after this function is not propagated to the exported peers

with save bodies I can not save directly in step, and sincerely the multibody parts would use them to create fewer possible files of part, I would not want to export the bodies every time and convert them into step and chant them once converted, inventor have a plugin to do it but also on the content center of ds not tro vo nothing.
I think it's a feasible thing at the macro/pluguin level, but it's hard to find it.

carry out individual bodies and then with the planning unit convert them into step

can you attach the model in both step and parasolid format? I want to do a solid edge test because I think that's where it's best to work.
or could there be an option in solidworks that allows you to experience the steps as axioms and not as parts?

I attach a multibody file.
I this step, made by me, the amount as together.
I quickly made this small path in solid edge, which allows you to get to the desired result, maybe there are some options that allows you to avoid the double passage.

1) I open the step inside a part template--> get all geometries in one solid
2) I carry the solid obtained in parasolid format
3) amount parasolid inside an assembly template--> get a file for each body

1574408743503.webpa problem with this method is that the identical bodies are treated as separate files, so the cutting distinction is a bit distorted.

I often find the wrong solid edge imports, I happen to open parts to do made with if 2019 exported in step and then reimport in if 2019 that give geometry sballatisdime, same step in sw no problem, for what concerns me if bad in this field, and considering that siemens is the owner of the parasolid engine I would expect that the most remittance, dassault in this has done better. It remains the fact that I try, but to export the multibody parts directly into divided steps nn I managed. If you have other ideas shot.
