hi, when I amount a .stp file in a solidworks set I do not see it in the drawing area but only in the tree next to it. I try to select it in the area where I positioned it by extending the selection area to be able to see it but you do not select it and not even in the tree is selected. What did I do wrong or how do I do to see it? Thank you.

I can't, he says the file doesn't have an extension.
I tried to turn it into "part" saving it into .sldprt and I see it as "graphic1" in the lateral tree (of the non-assieme part).
in this case how can I change the file scale, adapt it to the set and mate it with the other parts?
(It's the first time I have to import external files and I don't know how to move)

none of those 3 extensions can be opened by solid.
at the beginning post you talk about step, attach this step and not other files not step

because I saved one of those in .stp because I couldn't work on it.
And I also asked how I should do... .

can you attach the step file that amounts in solid that you speak at the beginning post?

I converted it with rhino but I can't see anything. Do you know how to convert one of those I sent you before?

We reset the whole speech and start again.
try to be clear in the answers and describe the things that this is not a chat.
you did the file in rhino?
which format has the rhino file?
Then you put him in step? how much does the rhino native file weigh and how much that exported in step?
What version do you have of solid?
How do you open the step file?
