structural calculation

Good morning to all,
I hope not to open a debate already elsewhere.
Would someone please tell me if they exist, and what are, regulations (international) to refer to for fem simulation? especially with reference to the calculation of machinery organs.

Furthermore, is there a certificate body for calculation procedures and for staff running simulations?

Thank you very much.

Bye. welcome presentation for newcomers.
There are no rules that I know.
on peds there are guidelines on numerical calculation.

even if it's probably not what you're looking for, you could take a look at the presentation modes we're subjected to in a mandatory form.
You have to look at chapter 10. are few pages but can be useful to have an idea.
find it here:http://www.cslp.it/cslp/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=66&itemid=20and also it is good to take a look at the circular (always relative to chapter 10):http://www.cslp.it/cslp/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=79&itemid=20possibly also seeks the cnr10024.

I'm sorry I don't have references for your industry

You're right gerod, I'm a mechanical engineer who's been working on fem analysis for a couple of years. I just changed product sector (machines earth movement) and I was trying to document any regulations about it.

thanks for the answers, I will try to look at your references.
