I have a pipe of a heat exchanger.
the solid model is a unique body, the fem model provides flat deformation.
I use symmetry, model only 1/4 section.
in reality the tube is made of a core of magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy extinguishing.
then the fem model uses the "surface region" to simulate the inner tube and that external alettato.
I have a thermal load and a pressure.
it seems ok, but the analysis fails because it seems (but not to me unfortunately) subvinculated:
