Good afternoon,
I would need advice about a coupling between a "cap" in abs and a "pink" in pa. I threw down my first idea but I don't know if during the various batches of molding I can always have the same force of insertion (cap on pin) that will be done by hand and with a non-excessive force
to take into account that the hood over time can be removed and replaced and should not parade easily.
Thank you in advance for your interventions

I think you're off the road, with that geometry, you'll never have a constant hold.
if then the hood must be removed and repositioned several times will lose effectiveness and will become lasco.
I would look for a kind ink with a tooth, exploiting the elasticity of the material to allow to enter/out of the subframe.
other note, those geometries will give you several problems in molding, retreats, sucking, deformations etc.

hello technomodel
I don't know.
the tooth (under picture) I suppose you mean it on the terminal of the hood that hooks where though?
Can you do a hand sketch?

Thank you
soon

just a simple throat on one of the 2 pieces and the corresponding male on the other.Aggancio cappuccio.webpvery schematically so.
it is necessary to evaluate everything as a whole, evaluating how the 2 moulds will be made, the function that they have to perform the pieces etc.

good morning technomodel,
thanks for the suggestion, I give you some info:
the particular red will be made in abs and I believe that a subsquadron on the flexible walls (as suggested by you) can be done without any problem,
it will have to be blocked after insertion
I only have a doubt about the gray part that will be made in pa, it will be possible to realize that subsquadro without having deformations on the final piece considering also that the cylinder in pa must flow (as a button for a race of about 8,5mm) without impediments in a cylindrical seat.
soon,

soon,
according to me dimensionaling well the whole piece is feasible without big problems.
You will have to understand how to make the mold, the pa is less flexible than the aps and could force to limit a little the size of the tooth/gola.
