suppressed or enabled

Good morning.

I tried to search in the forum but did not find answer. in case I ask vein.
version program: 2020
in the assemblies there is the possibility of having the components as "habilitate" or "suppressed". my question, probably banal but in the online help is not explained as well as supposed, is the following: What are the differences between these two states? type comparative table.

what I understand and experience:
Enabled: the element is loaded in memory and remains displayed as set by the view representation: but it is not selectable. good if you want to see the footprint of a machine but do not want to select parts during laying constraints, for example.

suppressed: concept connected to the level of detail, the suppressed component is not loaded into memory. in small assemblies little changes, in large assemblies for example avoid loading the 5 machines from 20,000 details each and you can isolate the sector where you are working. to note that it is not the same thing as visibility: if you make an unseen piece remains loaded in memory, if you suppress the memory you release (see the meter of the pieces loaded in low right for experimental verification)

I would add that suppressed doesn't mean disabled by the count in separate, but it just serves to download / lighten your set from memory
