[sw 2011] solidmotion results and charts

Hello everyone, I am a mechanical engineering student who started moving the first steps on this cad for the thesis.
I have to do a telelever film studio and I'd need a hand for solidmotion results and graphs!
I have to get a chart with height difference on the ascisses and avancorsa on the orders!
the problem is the difference in level of the road is on a single piece and instead the program needs 2 distinct. Do I have to divide this piece or do you know another way?
I also tried to bind axes and points to the sizes to measure but it doesn't make me select them right!

Do you have any solution for a poor desperate thesisist? :smile:

I have to study a front suspension with solidmotion and I need graphics not in a time function but in function of a certain parameter that in this case is the height of the obstacle!
my problem is that I can't select this height variation for the chart as it asks me that the thing to measure belongs to 2 different pieces!

I wanted to know from someone who has familiarity with these features as it was possible to bypass the problem

I sincerely do not see the problem (if exposed in these terms).
in a " suspension system" you have only 2 different pieces, between suspended masses and not..
the height of the obstacle corresponds (at least theoretically and to a certain point) to the race of the masses not suspended; measure for example between wheel axis and a frame attack.

However, it continues to be unclear. . Maybe if you put a schematic drawing you understand better.

You don't have to have an undulating "soil" in the environment together?? ?

the problem is I can not measure both the avancorsa and the height variation of the obstacle as it does not allow me to choose axes or points that I go to insert manually even if they are bound to the design!
