Hello everyone... it almost makes me impression to write about 2000i2 in the section I create!
I come to the therefore...maybe I am losing in a glass of water (trying there are discussions about it but I did not find what is bothering me!).

I need to make a constant section sweep along a 3d trajectory.I would prefer to avoid the pipe but proceed precisely with the sweep.
the need is to have fixed points in space both for a question of "wine" of the model and of subsequent quotation as characteristic points.
What I'm modeling is something like a cable tube loom.
What happens: I impose the points by coordinates, design the curve at constant radius and then I would like to use it as a reference curve for the sweep...but it does not recognize me. if I draw any curve from sketch everything works.
How come?
thanks to those who will have the patience to answer me

p.s. hope to be able to update soon with the software that really can no longer!

I would gladly help you but I started with wildfire 2... let's see if there's any old user who remembers.
I see it hard anyway... 14/15 years ago stuff:-)

Meanwhile thank you for the answer!

I believe that apart from the primordial program in use :), I believe that my problem is concept rather than software itself.
I think I'm going to skip a few steps or misdemeanor the reference curve. in fact only the one obtained by points is not recognized in any way when I go to use it for the sweep.

edit: looking in the forum with a different key... look what I get... :)... although I think I have already tried

"
the traditional sweep (to tell us the menu one) does not allow to select a 3d curve, but only a curve on a plane.
you have to do it or with the variable section sweep (even if your section is constant), or with the sweep blend.
I recommend the first.
