swx 2007 error "unexpected file"

Hello everyone currently I am using swx 2007 sp4 and when I try to open some files the error "unexpected file" appears!
are files I used until a few days ago.
can you tell me what it can depend on and how to solve the problem?

hello, did you try to close and reopen solidworks and then try to open the file again? I don't remember that mistake... .
the message came out at the first opening after a crash of solidworks?
is the file reserved or can you post it? I could try to open it with 2009, if you are corrupt you should not work anyway.

then the message gave it after upgrading solidworks to service pack 4! If I open it on another pc with the unupdated software works without problems, then I doubt it is corrupt.
I went to retrieve the file from a backup and this works!
But if it happened once again it could happen again!

Was the file generated with regular license? seems like a problem similar to what happens in solid edge when uploading files made with pirated licenses, maybe even on swx are entering a similar system.

the file is "old" I can't tell you if they were created with swk "regular" or not, I can tell you that on the pc I'm using the license is 100% regular, while on what I used to try the file no.
However there would be no wonder if they had inserted something like that against piracy!

Frankly, I thought about it too, but I'm not aware of it and I don't think there are any devices like this. I have all licenses ok, but I use files that come from uncontrolled orifices and it seems strange that everyone always had everything regular. that problem I have never seen, if not for file corruption (it happened once in 10 years).

That's what I suspect. with solid edges, for example, every sp is inserted in the program the serial codes "pirated" that are via widespread internet. solid edge thus becomes able to recognize files generated with an irregular license.
