Good evening to all, I continue with questions I imagine for some will be trivial.. .I have not used the course (at least for the moment :/ ) I am using catia v5 r19 for a few months (especially for table harvests) sometimes I need to do something more and in fact I find difficulties. arrival to the : in a joint I'm going to get them. differences of the symbols "ingranage" in the logical tree (I understand the gears with small red stars etc) are different from each other, what difference is there if it is not clear let me know, thank you all! I'm sorry.
thank you victorious and thank you gianni55, you have helped me a lot both! I needed to understand and this morning after reading your messages, I looked on the guide after the post of gianni55 (jpeg attached). ..of course I find very useful writing and/or cmq posting difficulties as different scenarios may occur. in the "guide" available from catia I did not understand how to look for... the pdf helped me immediately, but how do you extract it? (to me, only from print/pdf I can recreate a documentation on your pc) thanks to your patience and availability, ste
hi ste, years ago the caia guide with the "circle" (the telescope) worked, then (it seems) after an update of the java engine went to the ball, now if you click on the telescope, you no longer open the global search window, and it is a shame since it was very comfortable.
Now you have to open every single workbench and search with ctrl-f what you need and no longer finish, in fact I had to take to snipers and mouths and copy/paste what I needed in the form of image and place it on one or more documents.
sometimes help explaining commands comes with the guide installed in the program and using shift+f1 on the command icon
Thanks a thousand years, in fact I did not find way... I will try to move depending on the need and look manually, it would be convenient but I try to adapt. I will continue to post other questions as I find very vast catia, has different concepts than other programs but at the same time beautiful to deepen... there are things to learn. thanks again, greetings ste
