symmetry in assembly, update

after making a symmetry in assembly keeping the connection to geometry, if I make a change to the master do not affect symmetry.
symmetry also has no constraint: how do bonds symmetry also?

Hello Marco

probably the mistake you're making is linked to the plan you use for symmetry.

when you make symmetries together you should jog a part that makes you reference and which contains line points that schematize the stucture of your axis (skeleton).

so keeping this part blocked and controlling with appropriate constraints the part that generates symmetries, you do not need to replicate constraints.

for the symmetry of a part is perfect and very clear, but I want to make a symmetry of a product keeping the connection to the geometry but not to the position.
In this way I can move and reset both the master and symmetry to my liking.
I happen that in product symmetry there are no constraints between the parts that appear in the master.
Moreover if I change a part of the master, or add to the master a new part, such changes do not reproduce in the simmetry.

here I lose in departure... because from my point of view a symmetry is equivalent to saying to have a set with symmetrical parts in form and position... I do not go out of this principle.

the example you bring me, for me it equvades two distinct axioms.
the second can be derived from the main with "nouvo file from" and the master part is replaced with a second master part derived from the fundamental one with in addition a symmetry on the part file, and not on the axieme.

articulating even more the case I can imagine, two rectangular structures where in part b, there is an adjunctive structure compared to the maste part.

but the first and the second are to cover the symmetric effects in position and shape, and two axioms must be adhered to, the part b will be a subset of a part c containing the parts that differentiate the two structures a and b.

for what concerns the update after adding a part, or verified, I will place the name, but you have to check the feature together (in the tail of the tree) and indicate to the system to add the new loaded parts (you will notice that the error sombol appears (yellow flag with the exclamation point).

to conclude if you want to copy parts with the joint constraints you must activate the option in tools\options\meccanical design\assembly design table alleys.
