I created a part and a symmetrical part

No.
to do two symmetrical parts I do as follows.
design the right part, the save.
> new file from > renounce the file that opens as left part, so I do symmetry and save left part.
In this way I have no connection between the right and the left part.
if I change the right part the left part does not change.

2) you position on the partbody and with the right mouse click do copy3) Create the new left catpart you positions on the partbody and with the right mouse button Special glue.opens a new window where you will go to as result with connection.4) now will appear a new body (a cube with a green rhombus) make the specular of the latter

from now on.. all the changes you make on the right will be updated on the left but speculated

the catpart you can speculate with the connection to the original as I explained above.

then in the assembly insert the right and left catpart and positions them and constraints as you want.

the first symmetry I made it in contest (new part without saving it and then loading it into the axieme) and remained connected to the original, and to space them I had to change the symmetry plan.
now loading a new symmetric saved this is free
