hello to all, I am new to solidwors 2010 (demo) and I have undergone a nice problem to undergo: from the solidworks site the picture 600 to past all the tests and supports all the functionalities of "realview".
Then:
Realview doesn't work.
- in the performance panel the opengl is not selected, or, you do not see it.
- the directx 11 are installed
Do I have to enable all the features of the video card?

1) Strange that the realview does not work. I have always been enabled automatically as soon as I installed a picture, without making particular adjustments but only with default settings.. I don't know if it may be a "problem" or limitation of the demo version I don't know (and I didn't even know it existed. or a student? )

2)If you read well, the voice in the performance panel says <use the software opengl>. but having a picture you have them directly from hardware and that option you do not need and you do not enable. if you want to enable it you have to do so on the swx home screen, entering the options before opening a document, otherwise the item is not available. If you want to try out for curiosity, but I repeat that with painting you do not need.

3)as above. .
for swx the dx11 do not need and you could easily uninstall them (except for other softwares) as they use opengl libraries.

4)Enable all functions is not necessary, depends on your "visual tastes" and the hardware capabilities of the pc along with the complexity of the 3d file.
I repeat that it has to work everything with the default settings.. Then you want to make your adjustments.

..maybe it's a bitch, but I don't want any incompatibility with an amd based system (although unlikely because certified by the same dassault)

It seems to me that that mobo has integrated graphics ati radeon (correct me if I'm wrong). You should check if once you have installed the picture that is disabled (otherwise the new opengl hardware would not be recognized by the system) or if you do not have to intervene "manually" (bios magari, but I do not know it).

Thanks marco for answering me, but I tried them all. I also downloaded the latest drivers with opengl 4.1 from the nvidia "high performance picture", 260.78
cmq, the realview icon appears obscured... Nothing.
the card is fast enough. Can it be defective?

this patch should solve your problem.

Yes, I didn't know the operating system... cmnq, these are
Drivers for your os https://www.solidworks.com/download...7-quadro-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql.exestill put the patch back after installing the drivers.
before charging the card the malfunctionmetìnto, make sure that
w7 has no problem, sometimes the operating system "rovinate"
It's like nothing. .

from solidworks website results that certificates for your system are 259.57http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/videocardtesting.htmlbut if you read the note says that they require at least sp 01 and for the real view it takes that patch above (that picture series is relatively new).
Now,
you have to understand exactly what version you have of swx 2010 and with what updates.
the "demo" you say I don't know (and I don't understand), at the limit could be a student edition. but even if it seems to me that the demos usually come out with sp 00, as well as often the students (and other "versions" that here is not possible to name). At that point the ark would be discovered because it is stated that with sp 00 can not work and you will have to put your heart in peace.

if everything should be "regular" test the card with gpu z and check the voices of the various results if "quadrano".

hi, guys, if I tell you what was the problem, strange but true, you won't believe it,
Then:
- opening a document in sw 2010 blank, in options>performances, opengl are selected or unchecked.
- Once the document is opened, opengl cannot be changed.
- in my case the problem was just having selected opengl!!! go unchecked!!! and wowwwwwwww as row the picture with realview, impressive.
