Hello, ragaz!
I wanted to open this new discussion to discuss the topic "symbols" which I think is one of the most interesting aspects for the customization of the project during the design.
everything was born from the concept of designing a 3d model of the building not aimed at creating the many inflactioned renderings, but aimed at creating a bim and ifc model.
designing a bim model means entering quality and property to the entities that make up the model and then being able to question vectorworks in order to be able to draw information that facilitate the phase of computation and execution of the work. for this purpose when building, for example a wall, in the curtain of the properties of the wall in the phase of creation can be inserted data such as a description from capitulate, a price index, an acoustic reduction index, a fire resistance, etc..
this allows the end of the work to create detailed tables by questioning vectorworks.
But now I wanted to raise a question, if I wanted to create a 3d or 2d element as could be an underground conduct, such as quality check and properties as I do commonly for a wall?
I understand that the process could be to create a symbol.
What do you say? ?
