Good morning to all,
I am a mechanical engineer with 3 years experience in mechanical plants. On the other day a company contacted me asking if I felt like becoming a commercial engineer for them who sold similar plants to the company where I currently work. the job would be to sell their machinery in the world and then do the transferist. the pay of course would be greater than my current thanks to the transfers. I wanted to ask you: do you think there's more career opportunities for a technician or a commercial? Should I stay in my company and improve my technical skills or do I better switch to business? I would like to put myself in my own right one day so you think it's better to be a commercial engineer or a technical engineer to have the right knowledge/experiences to open something by yourself?
