Hello, everyone!
I was looking for some specific text on the design to study to try to deepen my knowledge. . .
My friend showed me:
"foundation of the design of the components of the machines", of junivall... .
but it turns out not available in all the shops I visited.
I looked here on the forum and got to read other titles including:
"construction of machines" by young people
"project and construction of machines"
etc.
In short, the various texts linked and recommended cannot find them, they are all not available. . .
do you have currently available texts to recommend?
Thank you in advance
Arian

hello, juvinall is the bible and it is done very well. Unfortunately, as you have already seen, only the English version is easily found.

a valid alternative is "project and construction of machines" shigley ed.mc graw-hill. . .This should be available easily. test on the website of hoepli.

construction of youth machines is very "old"...the examples are not better.

try to see also the book of laura vergani (I don't remember the title) done very well and that focuses mainly on the mechanics of fracture and fatigue.
is not particularly focused on the construction of machines.

elements of niemann machines. they have made the new edition recently. very valid but has more the manual setting, so to study on it is not the maximum

Thank you very much
for now I found this: design and construction of machines" shigley ed.mc grawWe'll see how I am!
thank you 1000 again to both.. .
;)

Please, I used it as a textbook at university and found myself very well.
also has exercises carried out to better fix the theory.

Thank you so much again... .
I hope it is useful to me too, I am not engineer unfortunately, I use cad (pro/e) for work and hobby (solidworks), for the machine I use on track some pieces I draw them on my own...as studies are only mechanical expert (I did the job) so surely in the theory I will have much to learn.. . I hope it's possible for me to understand this book even if I don't go to university. ...
However, I am being self-taught, so even if only I will learn something, it will already be a profit for me;)

Hi.
Arian
not to discourage you, indeed I admire you for the desire to explore:smile: I know the texts of johns and juvinall (that of the vergans is specific to the materials) and these quotes are texts that presuppose knowledge of mathematical analysis i, without solid mathematical base you struggle and do not approach the topic to full.
I helped my brother for the examination of maturity a few years ago and it seems to me that if studied ammodino , the texts of mechanics of superiors can be valid tools.
Good luck.

are excellent texts of
marlaguti zanon (the publishing house seems to me to be calderini or hats)
and the classic
pidatella (ed. zanichelli).

the first is better and more updated.
If you want to avoid the mathematical rhymes of university texts (there are many differential equations that I do not know if you are able to solve) use those that I have reported to you.
Good luck.
