hello to all, I ask you a help because I probably mistake in the passages:

I have a rectangle 2400mm x 1200mm x 50mm
the rectangle is completely rounded by 12mm square holes. on all the panel come out about 5000

on the surface of the rectangle I have to imprint some writings that obviously do not see if they coincide with the hole.
the writings are simple texts that I then extruded of very few mm.

I solved this way:
a set with 2 parts:
- the Bucherella rectangle
- the part with the writings

the part with the writings I have bound it to the rectangle and then I have extruded all the foreskin so that the extrusion removes the writings.

but every time I have to save or open the axieme it takes 20 minutes to process.

is there a more orthodox method to get this result?

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that the file is very heavy, it has really challenging series to manage, unless you upgrade the machine a lot, I don't see possible solutions.

If I understand, it should be something like this.to me does not create particular problems: the realization of the drilling took about three minutes, the first saving 1 minute and 38 seconds, while reopening the file takes only 7 seconds. the file has size 25 mb.

the realization of the drilling is all summed fast. but when I extrude the holes so that they go to erase the text part that coincides with the holes the system will plant. I've done more tests, now he's been processing for about 15 minutes.. .
I have a hp workstation with i7 7820x from 4ghz and the processor barely works at 4% with one busy core. the file is large about 28mb...
In the meantime, I try other ways if I think of myself...

did you try to extrude the text on the same rectangular part and not make extrusions from together? Is it essential for you to have two parts in one set?

How did you do the work on the rectangle? have you serialized a hole or serialized a sketch element?

try loading the attached file. as I wrote you above, it takes me 7 seconds to open it from a traditional hard drive (not solid state).
I broke the file in multiple parts, so it stays on the site without using external servers.

In the meantime, I'm trying.
as suggested I have inserted and extruded the serigraphs directly on the part of the rectangle without holes.
then I serialized a single hole.
In this way I should have reduced the cycles of recalculating the processing and seems to go far better.
