Good evening, everyone.
I have this problem:
in the autocad lt 2006 menu bar I entered a text check box, so you can easily change the various text styles with the handy pop-up menu.
I expect that, after selecting a text (which is normal or multiline) and selecting the style from the above box, the text itself changes, according to the new text style. That doesn't happen.
in autocad 2008 the same procedure works great.
I think there's a problem with variable settings. . .

I also tried with autocad lt 2008 and the procedure works.
that is something introduced with 2008?

I never used lt so the case is difficult to play, but actually I never used the pop-up you say to change a style, I thought it only worked to set the current style. instead I saw that it adorns the selected entity. obviously to do this you must select the object first and then perform the change.

in lt I am not sure there is, but the same operations (and others) the controls directly from the property window (_properties or ctrl+1) where always from drop-down menu perform the same changes.

I ask a stupid question... did you select the text in the box before changing the properties?
in previous versions of autocad, the properties were of the box, now instead they are the property of the text, then you have to select it, otherwise it does not work

according to me the only variable that could somehow affect this behavior is the name/verb selection since you must first select and then run a command

_pickfirst must be set to 1

Pickfirst is not the correct variable.

I don't want to waste time anyway. for me is something implemented since 2007 onwards.
in any case, if they select a quota and change the text style from the menu that I want, all as I would like.. .
