the company emmedue spa, operating in the field of effective technological solutions for the building, with the patronage of the faculty of architecture of the university iuav of venezia, has launched a contest of ideas for the realization of a project idea that better interpret the emmedue construction system.
the purpose that is intended to pursue is aimed at collecting ideas regarding design assumptions of civil buildings.
There are two categories of participation and precisely isolated buildings and aggregated buildings (by building means in this case the single real estate unit).
the use destination will be of residential type (habitations, residences, etc.). is left free on compositional solutions, surfaces, volumes, heights, etc.
the scope of the competition is restricted to students regularly enrolled in the faculty of architecture.
participation can be individual or group, competitors can participate in both competition categories.
a same competitor cannot be part of a group or participate simultaneously in a single form and associated with the exclusion from the competition both of the individual and of all the members of the group.
the competitors will have to send the drafts before 31 January 2010.
the contest will end with the definition of a merit ranking, on the basis of which two winners will be appointed, one by category.
The following prizes are provided:
- 1st prize “insulated buildings” competition: a contribution of euro 750,00;
- 1st prize competition “aggregated buildings”: a contribution of euro 750,00
