Good morning to all,
I find something frustrating and I would like to ask you if it happens to you, and if someone has a solution to propose me.
the question is that the feature regenerates me “free” the insertion point leading me to the bottom of the model tree.
This “fast” behavior does not occur if I work on the generic or on a model without a family table but only on family table variants.

Does it happen to you?
Do you have a solution to suggest?

Thank you.
p.s. use creo 2.0 code build: m250.

I think I'd like to think about it. do so as in the main model the insertion point remained at the end, and the instance refers to that. if you put the insertion point where you need it in the general?

great suggestion, I had not tried, but it does not work, it seems that the insertion point of the variant is not influenced by that of the generic, regenerating always returns to the bottom....peccato.
thanks cmq.

on the family it is best to work on the generic when we go through the features in the changes, you also have the advantage of the regeneration reserved to the only generic.
