Bye to all,
I write to you because I have been assigned for a few months now a fairly complex thesis and unfortunately I am left to the disgrace of my speakers.
the purpose is to perform optimization of a frame of a motorcycle using ansys.
together with a doctor I went to quote the frame in a workshop and I would initially have to recreate the model using monodimensional rods on ansys mechanical.
then I worked quite hard to create in solidworks the parametric solid frame. I also have inspired to understand that using ansys workbench you can perform optimization.
Now I have a big problem that is to identify load configurations to feed ansys. Today the rapporteur told me that I could use visual nastran4d but it seems to me that it is an obsolete and not compatible software with the geometries of solidworks 2010 and especially with windows7.... what can I do according to you?
