Good morning to all, I am new in the forum and this is my first discussion.
As from title, I have to run time history, to simulate a seismic action, with abaqus on a model that uses homogeneous solid elements.
My problem is that I can't perform the analysis. below list the steps I make:
I proceed by creating a dynamic-implicit step, which begins after the initial step, which the program loads by default.
later in amptudes-tabular load the accelerogram.
Finally, in boundary condition I create constraints of type acceleration, which I assign and overwrite the basic constraints of the model type incastro already assigned in the initial step and disabled in this step. to the boundary acceleration associo the accelerogram and point only direction 1 or x (direction in which I have to carry out the analysis).
If I check the link acceleration, the value 0 does not happen. if, instead, I give a unit value, the model is rigidly translating.
Can you help me? Thank you in advance!
