good evening to all, I am novice in the true sense of the word in the world of 2d and 3d graphics but has always fascinated me.
My doubt is this: I would like to learn how to use the cad and then go looking for a good job as a designer.
but to apply for work to use the software you really need to spend so much money on a course to learn it?
I have seen that in the library there are great manuals on the software that compared to the lessons of some courses are treated the same topics.... can you also learn yourself?

I'm gonna press that I'm using it a bit, but there's so much to know... .

Of course you can also learn by yourself. the problem is if you don't understand any topic, there's no one (except forums) to help you

I recommend forums, tutorials, videotutorial... internet is a tide of information. . .
personally, courses can also give you a small base, but they limit themselves there.
Keep in mind that then, you finish the course, and you're going to meet with technical problems and difficulties, that's all else.

I thank you very much for your answers and already now I will start consulting manuals and this magnificent forum and ask for advice.

Do you really need to spend so much money on a course to learn it?
and just a matter of time.

you have a lot (but a lot!) time to lose? then you can safely learn it yourself and with the free resources you find for free.

You have enough time to lose? Then I suggest you buy at least one book!

your time costs? then with a handful of hundreds of euros you do a nice course and in a couple of months you master the instrument. in this case may be a good idea a certified course in a atcnote well: knowing how to use autocad, or other cad, is useful. Unfortunately, however, you must also know what to draw !!!

thank you albertaun, we say that time to start studying autocad and buy a manual I have, in fact I will do so. I have already started and this forum seems like a good resource, even for other software. . .

I agree with everything I said before!
and cmq I learn something new every time when I face new problems.. .or simply by reading this forum...from when I enrolled here I discovered autocad functions that I absolutely ignored and I imagine will learn many more in the future! !

for manuals here a couple of pins -> .

the problem is not to learn a design software cad 2d or 3d .. that actually are ostic only in particular things ... but very particular. the problem for you will find work; I hope at least you have a diploma... maybe technical ..
