Bye to all,
I am working with marc to simulation of mould-composed interaction during the care cycle (thermo-structural analysis). I am interested in obtaining the deflection of the composite, due to the difference of thermal expansion coefficients, and residual stress states.
in the first line I don't care about the cure; Therefore I only care about the effects of cool-down.
both the composite and the mould are solid.
the bodies are in contact (touch) with a default value of the friction coefficient.
on the model an initial temperature equal to that max of the care cycle, and a thermal load equal to the difference between the initial t and that environment.
the results that I obtain, especially in terms of moving out of the plane, are extremely low compared to the experimental case.
for completeness, the desired deflection I can get it if I consider only the composite without any constraints. what I would like to do is get the same condition by simulating the presence of the mould (and then obtain the cutting effort between composite and mould).
