toolbox - no size corresponding to this component

Good morning.

I would have a “strange” behavior with toolbox.

when I insert a toolbox component as it can be a screw – dado – washer or bearing, I always appear a writing with “no size corresponding to this component”

and do not place the component adapted to the hole or thread, but always the smaller one.

in fact in the property manager of the toolbox inserted the casellina "automatic size ...." is in grey and I can't tick it.

I have “pasticized” somehow?

system sw 2010 x64 sp4.0 – just updated.

the behavior happens on 2 pcs in the network pointing to the same directory.
the second pc is the one with installed the system "home".

I may be doubtful that synctoy "pasticci" on that folder, i.e. I work locally and then I make a synchronized copy. it may be that this goes to somehow fix the solidworks_data folder. Could, but I'm not sure.

Any idea?
a greeting and good Sunday.
emanuele

one thing like that also did to me with the 2009 sp1, but then I noticed that it happened when the holes I made them for extruded cut and not with the special function, when then not even this worked I looked for the norm corresponding to the screw and I did it a moment.
But I must say that in any case it didn't give me such small screws compared to the hole I had, and maybe it's just like you thought that synctoy "pasticci" on that folder.

with the assistance we decided to:
1- restore and repair the installation of sw (has not solved the problem)
2- uninstall and reinstall the installation of sw ( partially solved the problem).
3 - copy a backup swbrowser.mdb file that I had of July located in solidworks date .

it took a little but everything ended well.
