Hello, guys.
I often have to draw a sketch on the surface of a prisma already built. the problem is that I can't find on the surfaces on which I draw the sketch centers of the circles or the middle points of the sides of the surface on which I find myself:confused::confused:...I explain better! Let's just say I want to draw a sketch on one of the surfaces of a prism. the sketch to be traced is a circle that however has the center aligned with the average point of one side of the surface of the prism. I can't find the middle point of the side, so, in order to overcome this problem, I have to use the command project 3d elements in which I project the contours of the surface on which I want to trace the sketch on the plan of the sketch. the same thing happens to me when I have to draw a concentric circle with the circular surface of a cylindrical prism... I can't find the center for which I once again have to project the circular section on the sketch plane and then apply the concentric bond between the tracked circle and the projected circle....how can I do? Is there a way to get traces of centers or middle points? ..thanks a lot:finger:

What do you mean?:confused:...to create a point exactly in one side halfway, I must first identify it, but if I can't with the snap to locate the halfway as I draw the point? ? ?

insert a point as a building element
the distance you want on
your reference (side , surf, erc etc,) and then it
use as a center for your circle,
by concentricly binding it with the point...

I understand!!:finger: so basically you have to do everything in the isometric view and not in the sketcher environment...many thanks!:finger: thanks falonef and alpole

Sorry guys... I got it wrong.......the isometric view should be set directly in the sketch environment... I'm confused. You don't have to get out of the sketch environment and it works... thanks:finger:
