good morning to all, I made a very simple model of a structure of traliccio constituted from 4 angles to equal sides and a number of bars of square section hollows, fixed with screws.
I modeled the geometry with 1d bar elements for bars and beams for the 4 angles (it distinguishes them patran automatically), while for the screws I used rbe2 with bush elements.
the purpose is to perform a modal analysis.
Is it an acceptable model for you? What would you possibly change?
