willingly, it is a boundless field.
to get the development I leaned on your geometry by moving, one edge at a time, into two 3d sketches.
with the bending function with loft, well visible in the screen, I got the development.
only shortening, factor k to 0.5
I couldn't give you the "full" development because in reality the self-intersect piece, in the bending phase.

Good evening xxfast, I can tell you how they're gonna do it in the shop. since the sheet I created it by defining in the sketch a circumference, to which I made an extruded offset, the boys will create a circular shape and, after having put it on the tube, they will make reference points to be used to place the sheet and then weld it.

Well, look, I'm metalbuilder and bending a sheet like that is
really easy.
I have two roads:

1. to do so with the bending machine, using a narrow matrix and radius punch giving a short step.
2. the "classical" method that to take a round tube, to be used as a shape for the curvature (better than ø less to the actual diameter... to avoid the elasticity of return) and with the help of snap pliers and fiber hammer it becomes adhere the figure obtained from drawing attached in my previous post.

the shape does not undergo stretching or funnel, the development is suitable to be "wraped" around a virtual axis radially.
If you try to print the attached file, cut it with scissors and wrap it, you will understand the procedure.
