Hello everyone,
small exercise on transmissions:
- I have a diam wheel. 380.
- I have a diam wheel. 110
- belt transmission

transmission ratio = 380/100 = 3.46

place that the wheel spins at 85.7 rpm =>

vel. wheel rotation conducted = 85.7/3.46 = 24.8 rpm

Does it seem correct?
to reduce rotation speed should I decrease the diameter of the wheel conducted?

Thanks for the help and resumption:)

No, frene vigj...
if you engines ø 380 and turns 85.7 rpm and se la conduct has ø110, it is clear that the conduct will have to turn faster
exactly will turn to 85.7* (380/110) = 296.05 rpm

to decrease rotation, or decrease the diameter of the motor or increase the diameter of the conduct!

It was a tranel my... no joke ... in fact I gave me the two tipped diameters and it seemed strange to me that the rotation from a gearbox was multiplied at the exit to the tree.

Thank you.
