hello to all, as from title.. .
in the company we need to integrate within the routing piping of solidworks a system for the selection of components (I would tell you almost a multi-level filter) that follows the specific company piping.
We would like that by selecting a "piping class", the software, following selections, component properties, preset filters... or other... propose to the operator one and one category of components (a little as it happens by selecting specific routing properties on c-points).
fast example:
the class "h2o" provides, to specific company, the use of:
- material: aisi 316
- pressure class for components: p. 16
- type fittings: from dn10 to dn32 threaded fittings 150lb & from dn40 to dn500 head welding components.
tracking, therefore, a line of the h2o class we would like the software to "fish" or propose only the components that I correctly respond to the above characteristics.
are there positive feedback on the possibility of having such a approach with solidworks routing?
