Bye to all,
Has anyone ever happened to be unable to rename, move or delete a revit file? ?
I use the 2009 version with view and I have on the desktop of files that I can no longer edit! If I try to erase them, I get out a window that says "recycle in progress 1 element" and begins to grind endlessly without erasing the file!
It also happens when discharge from revitcity of families, some do not erase anymore!
the problem is that I have to move files from one folder to another and that is not allowed to me!
I hope someone can give me an explanation and thank you in advance.

Good job to all!

hi, it happened to me, after several attempts have suggested the right solution: to permanently delete the pb you have to disable previews (control panel> option folder> display tab>able "Always display icons, never previews"), I don't know why but that's exactly what blocks the files. If you want a temporary solution, use this program http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/#download, is free, unlocks all processes. if you try it on a file that gives you trouble you will see that you find a process of explorer in progress. otherwise it goes to 2010, not from problems, at least on my pc (view sp2)

thanks alfaoon, I tried to turn off the previews but nothing changed!
I also downloaded the program but when I install it there appears a link with ebay... Will that be normal? ?

in the link I indicated there is the possibility to download the version "unlocker 1.8.8 portable", it does not need installation, just start it and search for the blocked files. you obviously downloaded the version that you install, the connection with ebay I think is just advertising. However, it happened to me that once the file was unlocked, if I didn't turn off the previews, the problem was resumed (always with 2009). It will be a case, but with 2010 I haven't had the problem.
