Good morning to all,
I just joined the community cad3d.it because I have a problem with inventor.
until now, not having particular corporate impositions, I modeled hundreds of projects to commit using the default inventor templates.
in this last month however, for more and more specific requests of 3d and bim processing by our customers, my company has finally approached in a structured way to 3d.
we are direct customers autodesk through the nigger nke and I have already placed the question to them for two weeks, but for now, no concrete and definitive answer, therefore I address you all for your competence in the field to ask you this question:
Can I "update" an existing file, created with a standard.iam template, to the custom version of my company?

advance thanks for any answers.

if you already have updated standards and saved the styles in the date design folder, just open the design you want to convert.
then go on management > updates and select the styles you want and at this point from the ok. the design is converted.
you can have so many design folders given how many your customers are, as long as you make a project for each customer and point his styles to the respective folder.

a little more complex speech for the squares and the cartilage.. .
for the paper mill you should name the company with the same name as what you used until now for the other drawings previously made, then with the "proceeding wizard transfer resource design" that is located in start -> all programs -> autodesk -> etc.... transfer this cartiglio to all others..... (an eye that thus overwrites all old cartilages, so first try on a drawing only, perhaps copied, to see if funziaon as it should, decline every responsibility).
for the teamings you can always do it with "procedure transfer resource drawing", but in this case, if you used the default inventor, you can't delete it or rename it, then you have to transfer resources, but then you should open every design and replace it by hand.

I thank you for the precious advice, I will be successful.
