update of property modification with autocad 2014

have recently passed from autocad 2009 to 2014
I have problems using the property table.
with 2009 it was enough to select the element, change the interested properties (e.g. scale line) press Enter and update
with 2014 I can't, can someone help me?

works exactly the same way with the only difference that 2014 makes you see the preview before sending

Thank you, then that's what I feared. I know that my autocad has some problem because in the property palette I always get and only see the default properties, whether it has not selected any object or has selected something.
