updates and add-on on new installation 2024

after a couple of weeks of use I am taking my hand with the new interface, known that they have not yet succeeded in distinguishing how you owe the various icons of the controls perhaps with clearly visible designs or different colors, I really struggle to find at a glance the wanted command.
I wanted to ask, I installed if and started working.
what are the operations you put into place after installing the program? Keep in mind that I'm also on a new car.

downloading the installer already have the last mps or do I have to download them separately?in add-on on siemens site I see some stuff like fastsearch_2024_2310, do I have to install it? I remember that on the old installation I installed it.

the new machine is a hp with graphics card rtx 3060, I didn't do anything for drivers, can it go well those that installed me windows or should I unload specific drivers?

updates, which from some versions are called update, must be downloaded separately. from your screenshoot in fact you have not installed any update.

updates also contain the previous ones therefore it is sufficient to download the last available (which at the moment is the update 4); in the readme of the installation of solid edge it is written how to receive an email to the release of updates, useful if you do not frequent the community siemens.

I highly recommend installing nvidia native drivers, historically those windows do not have good performance.

for fastsearch is convenient to index your disk and quickly find files; Unfortunately here we use a nas with its own operating system not compatible with this service.

I remembered that the latest version numbers were updates and in fact they were 0, thanks for confirmation.

I dumped them, but I don't make rendering, so for now I keep them stored.

I also found a correction for the Italian language "seec.drx" and I also replace that right file for security.

I get some graphic glitch while I work, nothing worrying but I don't expect it from a new car.

I have some trouble with my it that creates a slight friction in updating the drivers of the video card (cit. you know... the stability of the system... possible viruses in downloaded drivers ... the drivers that install microsoft are certified and therefore safe.... etc.) and so I looked for an opinion from the assistance of my dealer.

the assistance answers me that could be a driver problem but that anyway my rtx3060 card is optimized for gaming and manages the open gl differently and that would be better a picture.

I understood that the rtx series replaced the picture series but it's not my field, so I can't insist.

opinions or advice?

there is great confusion around the abbreviation rtx, in doubt always search for info on the internet if the acronym corresponds to a geforce or a picture; putroppo is often not reported the word for extended.

I confirm that rtx3060 is the geforce series

I believe that by updating drivers you will solve problems; otherwise a t1000 or a 2000 are at acceptable prices; Maybe refurbished.

in the company we have an unused pc with a rtx 3070, and there could be the possibility to replace it to my 10 year old with a picture k4000.
updating the drivers works the rtx?
I know you had st10 until recently (I still use that), did you also install that version with the 3060?

Unfortunately I haven't updated the drivers yet so I can't tell you if there are any improvements.

No, the 3060 already started with if 2024.
