use of solidworks routing

Hello, everyone.
I am in the condition of using sw for the creation of isometries for a purification plant.
in the version of soloworks that I found installed on my pc all settings related to piping are in inches and the thickness is scheduled... the exact opposite of how I would like (the diameter expressed in dn and the thickness in mm). apart from this problem, I hope solved when the new workstation with sw 2010, I was wondering if there was already a piping library, as I saw nothing about it.

definitely there is not much that after installing the program. I don't know if there are ready packages because a bookcase and pipes are not enough: all elements must be educated.
I find that the library is to be done by the user.

the routing files are downloadable directly from the cad as a zip and then the positions where you want to make them recognize the cad.

to avoid files seem corrupt.

I have them too and it is true: there is everything. If you have to make a system with specific components, a certain brand, and you want to see them correctly recalled in separate, you have to make the library, there are no solutions.

we have several problems in the office with swx routing in piping areas, inherent in the loss of alignment of pipes. once a path happens that the piping after a reopening of the file "moves" and the damn complicated ones put them back in place if not deleting the entire subassieme and remaking from the new. take a look at the screen shot 1. in the screen shot 2 you see how I organize the routing axis in the feature manager.
any advise? :frown:

as from my last intervention, then resumed in other sections, my evaluation of the pipe module in swx is firm and I am waiting for official info on schema and isometrics.

the evolutions in 2011 sp0 in fact are significant but in my activity the process is very linked to the unifilari and the isometrics.

I think of the customizable tag scheme and the most user friendly management of the components (all).
in the official forum the info is not many (because what you do is so intuitive that you do not need much more).

to answer your problem:
did you try to save everything in 2011 and see if the problem persists?
I personally find 2011 as stable as the 2010 sp4 I'm using and if I need to take advantage of the latest release news I wouldn't have a big problem.

but your options are:
Does it tie the routing part to the sketch or tie the sketch to the routing part?
