various cottages and wooden roof

hello to everyone, it is the first time I write in this forum. I tried if the problem had already been dealt with but I did not find anything about it, I hope someone knows how to advise me or refer to topics of the forum already dealt with.
I have 2 problems:

- the first I have to make a series di villette of which I will also have to realize an overview as well as the various individual projects. is it better to work on different files (1 per cottage) or to make a single file with the villas already placed in the space (planimetric and altimetric)? if I work on multiple files then how do I put them together?

-the second concerns the wooden roofs... how do you behave for realization? I can't find a simple procedure. Are there any applications to add to revit to simplify this?

the command, to connect revit files is "inseridci>link revit" and the management of the link : "Manage links" . the online guide is sufficiently clear.
There is also the possibility of using groups.

What do you mean by simple procedure?
If you want to see the beams, you must draw them : structure> beams or beam system.
if you don't care, draw a "normal" roof and then in a detail view insert details

The villas are 4 different.

for the roof I know that with the system of beams you can do, but I have to overlay a system of beams, one for the coasts, one for the strips and finally a "tect" for the hoods....
and in the case of a roof with a shape maybe not only with 2 falde becomes a job... .

villas = ... in my opinion you can do everything in one file ...

beams = are not of your opinion, even using a single beam, the command "matrix" is very useful ....
