good morning to all....I just started using 3ds max design 2009 because I have to make video of a project for the university and I was expressly required to use 3ds but I have no idea where to start. . Can qlcn m help??? ? ? thanks in advance for the help....

but how can such things be required?
I would ask your professor if he can use 3d max and at what level.

Anyway, what kind of video you have to do and what features should it have?

hi.... the video has to follow a path that changes planimetrically and altimetrically outside a building.....so as you assign the path to a room but I don't know how to realize a curve that has points at different altitude..... and then I have no idea where and how to launch the video and especially I have no idea how to save it.......

create a shape with the path you have to perform in 2d by placing the points strategically, thinking that then you will have to throw them up of quota.vai in sub-object mode of the shape at the vertex level and raise the vertices on the z of the quaota that interests you. now, using a path constraint ties the room to the path keeping in mind that it will align with the n°1 of the shape.

for the video, what does "high resolution"? full hd do you mean or what exactly? then you better, if you want good quality, go out with a set of frames and then compose them later (type with virtual dub) and then create the compression format that best suits you; or if you want to use with a video format the best according to my point of view is the .mov.

by high definition I intend to have a fluid video and that you do not undo the images.....cmq that k m interests more now is to know where you launch a videorender with which settings and how you save....because I tried to make one and came discreet, thanks to your indications, but I couldn't save it directly from 3ds....

to save it automatically you have to go into rendering -> render setup and in the rollout "common parameters" to the zone "render output" click on files and set the path and output of your video (if imposed as format files bitmap type jpg, tga, png, etc... he will come out in a series of frames depending on the length of the video, if you impose fomati from movie type mov, avi, etc... will release only one file of footage).
