Good morning.

having to assemble in a *.iam some bearings imported directly from the content center I would need to display their plans of origin. Unfortunately, after selecting them and choosing the command "visibility" appears to video the error message posted. Is it possible to solve the problem?

Thank you!

go to that folder in the content center cover the file and paste it into your project folder
enter the axieme and replace the file with that copied into the project folder.

you should be able to view them

I don't think you need to make another copy.... .
inventor is simply seeing the folder where the components extracted from the cc reside, for what it is, that is a library and therefore not editable.
to screw it you could do this test:
created inside the folder where the cc is resident (the one indicated by the error message) a project that maybe you call c.c..
opening files within this project should make them edit. ... try and let us know

That's what I do normally.
I have a project file pointing on a bogus content center and with this I modify the actual library files (formerly generated, of course).

If the change is to be done on the fly, I open the component to be treated, I save as in the work dir, I modify the file, I close and move it from the work dir to the cc.
easier to do than to describe.

Bye.

ok, with the save by name within the workspace I have the opportunity to view the plans of origin. In this way, however, the usefulness of the cc halved as I am forced to carry me behind very large workspaces and repeated files among the different projects.....
