Hello.

I saw that proe, but many other cads, export the file to .wrl format.
about how to incorporate it on the web page I found little information, among other things very dated. Is there any new format that allows the web user to explore 3d files? Does anyone know how to use them?
Thank you.

wrml or virtual reality is a dated and uncomfortable definition format.
today there is 3d pdf, some cads (for example) have plugins that allow to create a pdf 3d of the object.

therefore whoever has the reader (free) adobe acrobat (all in practice ) can display an object 3d .

see pdf attached

I don't share.
vrlm is still used as standard format by simulation software such as simulink (see virtual reality toolbox), adams, model, etc.

without wanting to enter into controversy... .

we are talking about allowing a hypothetical web user to be able to view our 3d object without complicating his life too much or, as a second hypothesis, to send to a customer an intermediate version of the object that will have to approve.

using pdf we are sure that he will not have to download any viewer (e.g. short), will double click on the file and the thing ends there .
That's why I used the words...data and uncomfortable.

in other areas certainly wrml has its place and validity.

attached the wrml version of the headset .. for those who want to have fun to view it.
