Good evening,

I am entering a phase of self learning in modeling 3d with vw 2009 architect. I have seen that there is a 3d navigation tool called space navigator, it is a sort of 3d mouse.

Since I would like to try to replace the 3d modeling from rhino but I can't abandon such an intuitive and fast display that rhino can give. is it necessary to get used to fixed assonometric views or is there a "way out"?

Thank you.

vw is compatible with space navigator although with vw2008 I had not seen a great fluidity... But I guess things have improved in the meantime.
However you have the possibility to move into space with the flyover tool that you find between the 3d modeling tools or active more simply by keyboard with the capital +c keys. I feel good like this, with just the mouse. :-)
Hi.
I do.

but there is no comparison, the modeling in rhino is much more fluid and simple. It's done for that.
