hello to all and well found,
I am facing this problem: I have to analyze interlaminary tensions with ansys 14, or better tensions between the two materials.
the audition in question is a structural capacitor with the following layup: 2 carbon layers, a thin layer of pet and two other layers of cfp. I modeled only a quarter of the audition applying symmetry, therefore half a layer of pet and two layers of cfp. 0.6mm thickness for carbon, 25micrometers for pet. I used solid186 for both volumes so as to have a perfect match of knots to the interface. ok when I make the mesh of volume 1(carbon) but when I create the mesh of the second volume here is the warning: "4000 of 4000 selected elements violate shape warning limits" does anyone have suggestions? I know that the answer will be trivial to the most but I am becoming mad
thanks cmq to all
