Hello.
I was asked to size an emergency residential lifting group(water tank) on an old 3-storey building.
regarding the size of the pump and the tub there are no big problems. what leaves me perplexed is the water flow required by the customer for each apartment. how much water on average I have to bring to the minute for a dwelling c.a. 100 square meters composed of 5 people with a factor of contemporaneity of 2 people ? other doubt. .
Currently the plant is powered by public network with a pressure in input of c.a 5.8 bar and in the most unfavourable point ( 3 floor ) I have a static pressure of 4.8 bar . each apartment is served by a 1/2" pipeline, in my opinion it is very restrictive to the demands of the customer.
substantially the customer of the 3 floor when opening only a tap is satisfied. in the moment that another person always in the same floor opens a second tap it complains a big drop of flow due to the fact of the little flow caused by the 1/2" pipe.
Thank you who can guide me in this request.
Thank you.
