welding preparation

I make a welding preparation to weld 2 plates in a welded assembly.

When I make the table, why don't you let me put the model status on "preparation"? I can only do it for the whole assembly, not for the individual parts.

How to do that?

because the preparation is a process of assemblies and not part, it is as if you make a hole at the level of together, opening the individual parts will not find it.
if you want to view them on the individual parts, you must make preparations (e.g. bevels) in the individual parts. even if I have to say that the chance to do as you would like would be very comfortable.. .
perhaps you can do by placing views of the assist and then hiding the parts that do not interest. . .

only that does not seem logical, because while the holes in a welded assembly are carried out together already welded, the welding preparation is carried out before welding, with the individual parts in hand.
Therefore it would be more logical to me that the welding preparation, which for convenience is drawn within the space-axieme, is "composed" in the parts for the individual designs. "a little as it happens for example in the holes of automatic inventor bolted connections"
