Bye to all,

I should have a soldering between a 30x30 bar of drained steel 39nicrmo3 and a heb 200 in fe430. the bar is calettata on a hole executed on the beam's wing and the welding only serves to block it. I have read, however, of the problems of breaking and I would like to know more, especially if I risk compromising the bar itself or if (as I think) since in my case the soldering would only be "fixing" and not structural I can go quiet. What advice do you have to give me? ( welding technique, electrode type, feasibility etc.)
thanks to all
Hi.

pre-heating absolutely.

electrodes suitable for welding reclaimed steel that electrodes makers will absolutely advise you (also on pre-heating).

I balance lozenges in fe 430 on bonifica pins in 39nicrmo3 and I never had problems.

I hope I've been helpful.

Hi.

There are some "covered" heats. are electrical resistors made to cover to place on the materials to be welded with temperature regulation.

I can't tell you if they reach the temperatures necessary for your use (since I make the pins preheat in the oven) , I recommend this because having to deal with a heb (I assume a long piece) the oven would see you cost a fortune.

blanket heaters often use them who weld special steel pieces (usually hardox and weldox) or specialized workshops.

otherwise if you have experienced welders "special" you can do it in a bowl, but be sure that the tempra takes nothing to make it to bless and create anomalous tensions at the cord level and in addition the alloy steels if heated at wrong temperatures lose their characteristics drastically. see you if it is worth risking against a low cost of the operation.

Known for preheating temperature and then you make the most opaque choices regarding costs, size of the piece and the safety range you want to operate in.

I hope I've been helpful.

Hi.

first you have to specify what type of welding you want to perform. . mig, mag or other
