but you need a pdm (product data manager), then a data management system of engineering of a product or a cad data manager, then a data vaulting system cad?
... makes a certain difference... and direct the answers you can receive.

I am not experienced ....I can only say that we currently use wormanager (programme now obsolete for what has been said) to create the distinct base of the projects, create the ball in annotation and transfer everything to the purchasing office, all here.to we designers then use research on parts or groups of the project according to certain specifications.

in the choice of the pdm you must also take a lot into account the erp, otherwise you always risk buying a program not properly compatible and kill yourself to try to communicate the 2 systems, suffice if you talk about bom transfer.
Since you use osd you should evaluate the pdms of the ptc, also because we are sure that the workgroup manager is first of all free and second it works!:tongue:

I use pe3 of the cdm isigraf and until 5 years ago I used workmanager. pe3 is more friendly and lets you do a lot more things. As for reliability, I don't understand what you mean: workmanager also found it hostile, heavy etc. but had no malfunctions.

what can serve for cad (as bvm said) is the model manager, product cocreate snello and fast dedicated to ut management.
See what you need, I'm convinced that mm (model manager) is what you need without going to third-party products, which are often "recoated" and customized mm.

if your company is a small company and you only need it for management in u.t. It's perfect for you.
stable, fast, simple, customizable.

perhaps you mean attributes, example code, description, material, treatment.
mm is customizable and allows you to add the attributes you want at any time.

I was told that the attributes in mm are customizable at will but it is not possible to create different categories (classes) such as frames, paperwork, specific group with specific attributes such as different basic date.I have remarked that maybe it would be enough to create in mm a large amount of attributes maybe displaying only some for a specific category of groups...but not knowing specific ring mm I will probably be forced to use proposed pe2.
