windows properties empty objects and fast properties in autocad 2013 and 2014

Hello, everyone.
I recently installed autocad 2014 on a new laptop with windows 8 64bit, it seems to work well except windows with the types of objects to which to change the properties. I will explain better: in the property window, in the quick ownership window and in the quick selection window, opening the drop down menu where you should select the type of object (or see the type of selected one) nothing appears, where there should be the line indication, polyline, restraint etc..
I tried different files, created with old or created versions ex novo, with many or few objects.
I also installed the 2013 version and it gives me the same problem...so I guess it's a Windows 8 problem, or some system component.

googlando I found only one person with such a problem, on a 2011 version, but no solution had been found

No idea how to solve this?

at the top right of the curtain you should find the icon to customize the things you want to see

I don't understand who decides to make these improvements, of course that the curtain is leaner but rather make sure that it looks nice complete and fat, then make a nice popup appear where you say that "now you can customize it ", so who wants to unleash and puts the ingredients he wants.
I regret my version 2004 super customized, a jewel of stability and productivity, fluid as not even next 2017 will know to be.

I have no idea how to fix it, as I said I also tried to install 2013 and behaves in the same way, so I suppose it comes from some external component? boh tonight cmq I try to reinstall

It was happening to me. I canceled the cad 2014 and remitted it, same problem, I deleted it again and remitted 2013, it worked, then I remitted for the last time 2014 and it worked well... bho...

since it worked I made a backup of the disk and if I still have the problem restore everything, after several months I have not yet found an answer... :

Okay, so I'm cleaning up and reinstalling, I was hoping to avoid it.
also you windows 8?

cmq the golden rule that on a pc taken to work should never put a recent operating system should always be respected
only that eradicating win8 from a laptop is not as simple as with s.o. previous, and I wanted to trust...so the problems I have with autocad, sismicad and other minor software I deserve them all

I have windows 7.

I solved by going on
control panel -> programs and features

double click on the program and I chose

repair or reinstall
and finally

reinstall

I had a similar problem... solved by installing sp1 autocad 2014
