Hey, guys.
time ago I had published a configuration asking for advice. turning for several months I completely changed the components. I wanted to ask if you think the chosen components are suitable for a workstation. I wanted to point out that I would also like to try to make some games and devote some time to the way of overclocking, the first goal remains to get to have a machine that runs smoothly with programs dedicated to engineering, cinema and modeling 3d.
Here is my idea:
core i7 4930k 3.4ghz 6core 12mb socket 2011
rampage iv extreme black edition (x79) extended-atx socket 2011
kit dominator platinum ddr3-1866 cl9 (4x4)
pny painting k4000 3gb
2x 1tb caviar re4 raid edition sata2 64mb 6gb/s
2x sasmung 250gb 840 evo basic ssd sata 6gb/s
rm series 80 plus gold rm650 650w power supply
corsair - hydro series h100i x socket 2011
What do you think?
I would still have another question: in a cpu for workstation it is important and useful to have another number of ghz?
Thank you in advance!
